Celebrating Women’s Month thru Feminist Greek Myth Retellings

It’s Women’s Month in March, and I should not let the month pass by without incorporating into the celebrations some feminist Greek myth retellings and along with them, my newly released novel, Achilles’s Wife.

One of my first online book-life friends from years ago when Hand of Fire came out is Erin at Hook of a Book. Her blog is a warm and intellectually engaging place, especially for historical fiction authors like me. She invited me to contribute to her month-long celebration. I created for her an annotated recommendation list of some of my favorite feminist reinterpretations of myths. It was great fun to write–mini reviews in a running discussion format–of books you will love to read.

Come along to Erin’s Hook of a Book to read, “Celebrating Women’s Month through Greek Myth Retellings.”
